I was born in Winchester, England where I lived until the age of twelve when I moved to Ireland. I started Irish dancing at the age of 5. I won many competitions and championships through out the uk during my time competing at open level. Now I help teach Irish dancing and am currently studying to get my T.C.R.G/teachers licence.
As for Zumba, well I started going to classes two years ago and have loved it ever since. A very good friend of mine and fellow instructor (mentioning no names) really encouraged me to go for my certificate and here I am couples years later with my own classes. I have been teaching zumba for a year now and can't think of any better way to have fun while still getting fit.

I am from the west coast of Scotland, and I'm a Zumba addict! Dance has been a huge part of my life from a very young age. I trained in tap, modern, and classical ballet gaining certificates to advanced level and I also spent some time in London training in professional dance. I went on to study for a degree in Sport & Exercise Science at university, and in 2009 I moved to Dublin to begin a PhD in exercise and health at UCD.
My first Zumba class was with Heather at UCD and i was hooked straight away! The music, the energy, enthusiasm, it was addictive. I signed up for the instructor training programme and before long i was taking my first class...and I have never looked back. I love to teach Zumba, and to see everyone enjoy it as much as i do makes it even better. Every class is different, a great whole-body workout, a huge confidence boost and a latin-inspired party all rolled in to one...whats not to love?
